MOTE Projects is a speculative design practice founded by Chad Connery and Anca Matyiku shortly after they met at the University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Canada) where they both completed their Masters in Architecture. Since its inception, the practice has operated remotely across North America. Their work has been featured in galleries, journal publications, and at conferences across Canada, USA, the UK, and at the 2012 Architecture Biennale in Venice. Chad is Assistant Professor at University of Calgary School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape. Anca is Assistant Professor at University of Cincinnati School of Architecture and Interior Design and completed her PhD at McGill University.
